What does Onewheel GT stand for

The Onewheel GT has taken its name from the old car industry, Grand Tourismo. Like any car with that version name, the board is designed for high-speed and long-distance rides.

A quantum leap in Onewheel performance.

The new board is a big step forward in performance, with 50% higher power and torque, increased range, and the fastest board to date.

What does “GT” stand for

GT stands for Gran Turismo, or “Grand Touring.” The term is coming from Italy and the definition was: A GT car fits between a sports car and a luxury car.

The car should have a big engine, be a comfortable ride for the driver, and have a luxurious interior all with elegant bodywork. Not just fast, it needed to be able to handle like a sports car when the proper situation arose but coddle like a luxury car the rest of the time.
