Lazyrolling SLIM TRIPLEFLEX PADS 2.0 Armored Hoodie

The SLIM TRIPLEFLEX PADS 2.0 fixes the most common complaint about Lazyrolling Hoodies and Jackets, the standard pads. They are not flexible and restrict your movement while riding. These pads are something else and also come with an improved protection rating of level 2.

The pads are manufactured by SAS-TEC, a company specializing in shock-absorbing systems and protection gear.

They got a unique design, TRIPLEFLEX, making them extremely flexible. Retain their high flexibility even in cold conditions. Compared to the standard or even the great and softer Lazyrolling Level 2 pads, it’s night and day.

Compatibility

The pads are only compatible with the Certified Armored Hoodies and Jackets from Lazyrollings. We are happy to find out that both the back and shoulder/elbows work with the pockets of 2019 Armored Hoodies! This is a great upgrade for the old gear. Want to know more, read my review of the Lazyrolling Armored Hoodie 2019.

They got a generic size so yes you can use them with a lot of other protective clothing and kevlar hoodies.

Weight

Shoulders: ca. 70 g / item
Elbows: ca. 85 g / item
Back: ca. 225 g

Color

The colors are either Yellow or Black depending on the batch. There is no other difference and they have the same protection rating.

How to install

To insert the shoulder- and elbow pads turn the jacket/hoodie inside out.

The pointy part should be pointing down. Although the elbow and shoulder pads can be worn both ways, SAS-TEC recommends using them with the fabric side facing out from the body.

Protectors are washable by hand. They got a water absorption of less than one percent.

Price

The pads are expensive and cost $80.00.

Tips: Lazyrolling usually has black Friday deals, we got our set for $30 off.

Conclusion

The SLIM TRIPLEFLEX 2.0 is a great upgrade for your Lazyrolling hoodie or jacket. As a Onewheel rider, I see no benefits in getting the level 2 pads as the TRIPLEFLEX are way more flexible and have sufficient protection.

EUC riders might want to take a look at the Level 2 PADS as riding at those speeds increases the risk of injuries.

Compared to the standard pads there is nothing more to say than get these if you got the money to spare. They are really worth it!

Buy them from the official Lazyrolling homepage.

FallmanTech is an affilate for Lazyrolling. These were both by our own money during the 2022 Black Friday deal.
