About Klimax
Jan, or as he is called in the LEGO scene Klimax, is a passionate Lego Technic enthusiast who returned to his hobby after a 20+ year hiatus, sparked by the birth of his son and the rediscovery of his childhood Lego sets. He started with smaller models, then moved on to the 42009 Mobile Crane and 42043 Mercedes Benz sets. The versatility of the 42043 set inspired him to build his own MOCs (My Own Creations).
His goal is to build as many functional models as possible from a single set, without adding any additional pieces. He prefers manual functions to ensure child safety and playability. He also aims to add new functions to recent models and those that are no longer easily available. He creates digital models or instructions for his creations, so his son can build them independently when he’s older.
Despite juggling a full-time job and family responsibilities, Klimax has built numerous models since 2018. He enjoys the building process but finds creating instructions time-consuming. As a result, many of his models are waiting for instructions to be created. Once completed, he offers them on Rebrickable at a reasonable price, considering the time spent on creation.
Klimax is open to collaborations on creating model instructions. His journey showcases innovative thinking, a love for building, and a commitment to sharing his passion with others.
