Installing the FlightFins and FlightFender on a Onewheel is one of the easier modifications. You can decide to either use their FullFlight system including a fender or install them with your existing stock fender from Onewheel. The benefit of having the FlightFender are the possibility to adjust the position of the Fins something that you can do if you install them directly on the stock fender.
What comes with the kit
All required hardware comes with the kit. The only thing you need is the Phillips screwdriver.

Installing the FlightFins onto the FlightFender
The first step is to install the FlightFIns onto the FlightFender. It’s a lot easier to install the fins first than installing the fender to the board and then mounting them.
- Use the provided screws to bolt the FIn to the Fender so that the KERS lock nuts are only engaged to the screw by a few threads. This is so that you can adjust the position of the Fins later after mounting them to your board.

Attach the Fenders to the Onewheel
- Remove the 8 screws holding both the footpads and the Fender/Fender delete.
- Take up the Flight fenders with the attached Fins and make sure to palace them accordingly to your stance on the board, (goofy or regular) before you attach them.
- Using the hex wrench attach the Fender to the Onewheel with the supplied screws. Make sure that they are tight. Don’t use Loctite or overtighten the screws as the threads insert in the rails are prone to be stripped.
- The last step is to adjust the Fins to your preferred position. Place your feet with your shoes on top of the footpad and slide the fender into place. Tighten the Fin bolts so that the end of the bolts are flush with the end of the locknuts.

Don’t overtighten the bolts as they can go through the soft material of the Fins.
*if you are riding with different shoes, either adjust the Fins to the one you use the most or the one with the highest profile.
