Good news for all of us Onewheel Pint owners! Future Motion Inc. has just rolled out the Hydrus 5205 firmware update, bringing a host of exciting new features to the original Pint model. This update, available over-the-air, incorporates some of the advanced functionalities previously exclusive to the Pint X and Pint S models. The update takes around 5min to update and remember to keep your phone close to the board during the installation.
Here’s a breakdown of what’s in store for your Onewheel Pint:
The update changes the way the board rides, it will lift the nose more aggressively when you turn to enable you to take more sharper corners.
We will need to see if the other features are included like the Pint X or if the lower capacity battery limits the board to not have the capability of Higher Top Speed and Increased Power.
Haptic Buzz Safety Feature: Safety is a top priority for Future Motion, and the Hydrus 5205 update introduces the Haptic Buzz safety feature. This innovative addition provides riders with auditory and tactile warnings, allowing them to both hear and feel important safety alerts.
Sadly Custom Shaping, a long-requested feature from the community is not included in this update. Time will tell if this comes to the Onewheel Pint.
